Generally, motorcycle fits the plain meaning. N.Y. Insurance Law § 5102(m) defines a motorcycle as follows:
(m) "Motorcycle" means any motorcycle, as defined in section one hundred twenty-three of the vehicle and traffic law, and which is required to carry financial security pursuant to article six, eight or forty-eight-A of the vehicle and traffic law.
New York Vehicle & Traffic Law §123 defines a motorcycle as "Every motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, but excluding a tractor."
